HomeSnap uses the information you provide to create and save your home designs.
Your account and photos
We store your account identifier, membership status, billing identifiers, any legacy credit balance, design settings, original photos and generated designs. Your saved designs are linked to your account and are only accessible when you sign in. You can delete a saved design and its original photo from My designs.
Services that help us work
Clerk handles account sign-in. Stripe processes payments; HomeSnap does not store your full payment card details. Photos and design instructions are sent to OpenAI to generate your redesign. Our hosting and database providers store and deliver the service.
Browser storage
Essential sign-in cookies keep your account secure. Your unfinished design draft may be saved in your browser for the current session so you can return to it after signing in. HomeSnap does not add advertising trackers.
Retention and requests
Designs remain in your account until you delete them. Payment and credit records may be retained where needed to resolve billing queries and meet recordkeeping obligations. For account deletion or a request relating to your personal data, contact us through support.
